hi there, I just got a new xyz handheld scanner and I downloaded and installed everything the scanner needed. So when I’m scanning the screen kind of glitches but when I finish scanning only a piece of the object is actually scanned. Has anybody gone through this same problem? Any have a solution for this? Thank, appreciate it.

my personal experience with xyz scanner is that I returned it back as it was not working with mac ?. You’ll better off using Xbox Kinect and skanect software for 3D scanning. Unless you have 400$ you could buy cubify isense scanner which works with an iPhone/iPad

Also when you scanning make sure your object is always inside the box you see on your computer screen. Make sure to maintain the distance between the scanner and the object if you are walking around the object. Handheld 3D Scanner XYZprinting - YouTube
I have not tried it, but I hear you can use different software with the XYZ scanner for better results.
