This is the most bizarre policy I’ve seen on any forum.
I was in dialog yesterday with another member. I went to reply again and:
“We’re sorry, but new users are temporarily limited to 3 replies in the same topic.”
So I went back today to reply and:
“We’re sorry, but new users are temporarily limited to 3 replies in the same topic.”
Absolutely bizarre and totally unnecessary.
My take on that is from the old forum where spammers would carpet bomb a topic with tons of crap.
It is really not that unusual for forums to limit new posters. I know it sucks at first.
How long does the restriction last? I haven’t encountered any restriction that extreme before.
I really don’t know. Maybe someone from hubs will respond. You might consider sending them a message asking about it.
If they don’t do it already they really need to spell this stuff out clearly for new users.
Or just post on any other 3d print forum without this heavy-handed restriction… I assume I won’t be able to reply after this because I’m a new user…
