I have a FlashForge Dual Extruder Creator X.
I only get a maximum of 2 layers printed before the piece peels off the plate. With some temperature settings sometimes it doesn’t even complete the first layer.
I’m using PLA with the High Temperature Resistant Kapton Tape.
I’ve tried many different temperatures for the plate and the extruders with the same failed result.
Build plate temperature should only be a max of 70 degrees Celsius. I would double check or re-do the build plate leveling ensuring that a sheet of paper barely slides between the nozzle tip and build plate. The build plate leveling will probably fix the issue you’re seeing.
It is the same result with different rolls of PLA? It might be that your PLA is no longer any good. I’ve had plenty of bad rolls over the years.

1. Nozzle height (too far from bed)
2. Printing too fast
3. Bad quality of filament
Personally, I do not like to use Kapton tape at all.

Print temperature too high or too low
Printing too fast
Bed temp too high (should not be have to be more than 40-45 degrees for PLA)
I like to use 3D Lac adhesive spray for most of my prints and it works very well for PLA.
Some pictures would help to determine if its a adhesion issue or a first layer height issue. When I had previously used a kapton tape bed I had better results by putting some Aqua net hairspray extra hold on the bed when cold and letting that dry to tacky finish before heating the bed and starting the print.
If it is an adhesion issue and that works maybe in the future when replacing the kapton tape put on a pei sheet instead. That doesn’t require hairspray then for pla and works real well
