Monoprice Select mini v2 X axis skipping

Hi all,

Firstly a big thanks for taking a look.

I bought the Monoprice select mini V2 recently and my first few prints were effortless and great quality!

Unfortunately, my more recent prints start fine but the x axis skips mid print so it continues printing up to a centimeter right from its bottom layers.

Would be very if you could provide insight into the problem and possible fixes.

Layer shifts can be caused by the nozzle hitting part of the model that has warped up and getting caught, printing too fast, and loose belts.

Have you tried printing the same gcode that has previously worked?
