When I try to calibrate the level of the printing platform, I find the following issue: The mid point of X-Y is higher than X and Y. The mid point of Y-Z is higher than Y and Z. The mid point of X-Z is lower than X and Z. Why this happens?
OK, I have looked and looked at this, and looked again at this. I do not see how it is possible unless your glass is not level!
I know that is not too helpful, but I thought that if I at least replied, your message would get bumped so others can agree or disagree.
Sorry but I looked at this also and itās not making any sense to me.
I also think this problem is weird. This issue happened after a abnormal printing: Talk Manufacturing | Hubs can find the detailed description hereļ¼. I am wondering if itās caused by the abnormal work of stepper motor or motor driver module (A4988).
Have you ever met this issue?
This is normal for a delta printer that isnāt well set up. You need to ensure that:
1) All towers are parallel (use a digital caliperās depth guage to measure this, get all 6 measurements to within 0.1mm)
2) All towers are at exactly 90 degrees to the bed.
Once youāve done this, use this calculator to put in the remaining fudge factors into your firmware.

Itās a massive pain in the bum, however if you want to print flat with a delta you canāt cut corners.
Thank you for your reply. I recheck the towers and I can guarantee that they are parallel and nearly 90 degrees. Actually, this printer printed well a few days after I finished building it, but it suddenly printed abnormally in one model-printing process (detail:Talk Manufacturing | Hubs). And then this issue surfaces. I canāt find the cause of this issue. Do you know what may cause this?
āOK, I have looked and looked at this, and looked again at this. I do not see how it is possible unless your glass is not level!ā I too had a problem with this and found out that my glass bed wasnāt level. I kept telling a friend of mine that I believe the glass was warped and he didnāt think so until the glass bed cracked in half. I have replaced the bed with a metal (thicker) bed. It made a huge difference.
if you are describing the bowl/dome effect youll need to adjust the the deltaradius
