LCD Issues in FlashForge Creator pro

Hi

Yesterday when I turn on our FlashForge Creator Pro the LCD didn’t show any letter only was turn on the background light. So I turned off and I made some adjust in the extruder.

When I turned on again the LCD show me all the characters, the LCD was working normally.

Today I turned on normally and I could preheat the nuzzles and extrude both.

When I wanted to make other operation the LCD was frozen, I cant´t make other action. So, I turned off and when I turned on the LCD didn’t have any character again. Sometimes the LCD show random characters.

Do you know what is the problem?

What can i fix it?

It’s probably the cable that connects from the main board to the LCD board is loose. It’s easy to come loose when working on the electronics and if it’s not fully plugged in on both ends, it will have symptoms like you describe. So check that cable ribbon cable.
