The printer was working fine yesterday, though I edited some gcode on a part file while attempting to print using exclusively the secondary head.
As of today I am unable to communicate any commands via the touch screen panel or through Cura.
This includes movements, LED on/off, preheating, and extruding.
I’ve taken a look at the electrical components using a multimeter to check for continuity, and everything seems to be in order.
I did upload an edited arduino sketch, though all I edited there was the Z offset, so its unlikely that the issue is there. I’ve reuploaded Marlin multiple times with no such success.
Hi there. Im totally new to 3D printing. I figured I would buy and all in 1 so I wouldnt have to change machines and or upgrade as I go. So I bought this T-rex 2. I was able to print test squars and came to pretty good quilty with the PLA they suppled. I was looking into different fillament and bought PELG and was concern about the tip temp only going to 220. PELG needs at least 235, 240 is recommended. But It wont heat up to that so it wont print. Any thoughts?
Hey sorry to keep bothering you. I tried hunting it down for max temp but it says its 350. So I notices that if I slow down the fan for the extruder with my finger it heats up to 240 no problem. But once I let go it cools it down to 220 and stays theres. Is there a way to slow down that front fan?
I added aluminum foil tape to the bottom of the fan to go over the heater block. Made like a wind block for it. Now it has no problem heating up. Heats to 205 and 240 with no delay. Thank you for your help and your right Ada is very helpful too.
