Filament extrusion

Hello guys, Im not sure if this is the right place to create a thread about filament development and extrusion, but I wanted to exchange experiences and knowledges about filaments.

I have been producing ABS filament here in Brazil and was wondering what materials would be easier or harder to extrude, or which materials are being recycled for 3d printing nowadays.

Do you guys have some experience to share?

Im thinking about PP and PET, and I have seen this topic (3d recycling #4: good results for producing PLA and PP filament) but I couldnt find any topic after that about the subject. It didnt work?

I have seen some articles about ABS + carbon fiber, etc. Have someone tried?

I would be glad to hear the stories!

I wonder, has the filament industry has grown large enough to have an industry association and publications? If so, that would be a good place to start. If not, I suggest contacting some of the other filament companies around the world to see if they would be interested in an exchange of experience and examination of areas of common interest between competitors.
