As the headline says what flexible filaments have you had good success with and can recommend, Should be possible to buy from Europe.
Hi
We have used Flexifil and had great results …we also see this item on our website http://www.mes3dfilaments.co.uk/ if you wish to take a look at it.
I would say that the success really depends from the combination between the printer and the filament.
Avoid bowden based printers as much as possible.
On my Ultimaker 2 : I achieved to print with Ninjaflex. Not with Filaflex.
On my Printrbot Simple : I achieved to print with both (I have the gear extruder).
I would say, buy some samples from http://shop.3dfilaprint.com/.
Test on your printer with various parameters and buy a spool when the process is stable.
If you want to find all the flexible filaments on the market, you can get manufacturers / reviews / print settings on www.filaments.directory.
Good luck and share you findings !
Hey Hltec,
I recomend flex 45 as it is really easy to print with PLA settings. (the bed has to be a bit hotter)
you can try ordering it from https://www.makerpoint.nl/en/
Here are the different types of flexible filament they have: https://www.makerpoint.nl/en/3d-printing/filament/makerpoint/mp-flex/
a month late but I really felt the need to chime in. I sell filaments here in the US and sometimes feel a bit unlucky with the quality of products we have vs Europe. I know, most Americans love the whole “made in the USA” thing and it does hold true to certain products but honestly Europe is a leader in quality tech products and the filaments I have tested from European companies is on a different level playing field then most of the US brands. Italy in particular has 2 filament makers that produce some of the best quality and such a variety. EUMAKERS and Treed if you are in Europe will provide you the best quality. EUMAKERS has a great TPU Flex filament and Treed has 3 filament lines that offer flexibility- Flexible TPE HP, Flexmark 7-8-9 Flexible TPU, and Ultraflexx Flexible TPE-E. EUMAKERS is better on your pocket book, but Treed offers some of the most genius filaments I have come across. Good luck, happy printing.
